In
Tokyo’s Nakano-ku, Captain Jack Sparrow can be spotted recommending specials
to customers at a cake shop named Cake and Café Bar Pirates of Ryouma.
Of
course, he is not the real captain, but donning
a scruffy beard and a pirate costume, manager Koenji Jack Sparrow (the name
he calls himself) really resembles the celebrity pirate from the Hollywood movie
Pirates of the Caribbean. Behind the disguise
is actually a friendly man who is fluent
  in speaking Japanese.
The
idea of Jack Sparrow selling cake may be unusual, but what is even more
surprising is that the shop he works in is dominated by the color pink. The
shop’s designer somehow managed to mix elegant princess-style decorations
with pirate imagery. Lively and colorful paintings on the walls of the
seating area also add to the cheerful ambiance of the place.
While
mainly a cake shop, the cafe offers a complete menu with liquors and light dishes. They also serve dine-in and take-out
  orders.
Those
who want to see Captain Sparrow’s look-alike
can easily visit him. He is present in his shop almost every day, from
opening till closing, although he can sometimes be found outside entertaining
  people in the neighborhood.
